  Today many people are losing their homes to foreclosure. I maintain that it is not their fault. How can I say that. Well look, between 2000 and  2006 almost no one lost their homes to foreclosure. So do you think that masses of people just all of the sudden became irresponsible or perhaps it was forces outside of their control that caused it?

I maintain that people will usually keep  their homes and make their payments if they can. If people have plenty of money say they win the lottery they make their payments.

However, you may have been struggling to keep your head above water and may not have been able to do anything anyway. If you are now in foreclosure, your lender will not accept any payments any way. Hopefully you have some income coming in and can direct that money in an effort to stop the foreclosure.
